A community showcase will be held in Newbridge Town Hall next month.
Newbridge Community Development (NCD), in partnership with Newbridge For All (NFA), will be hosting the event.
According to organisers: "The event, which is free and open to all, will showcase the best that Newbridge has to offer in terms of its community, social, cultural and sports groups.
"There will be a cup of tea, along with performances and presentations on relevant topics."
They continued: "This is an opportunity for long-standing and new residents to speak with representatives from the groups, to find out about their activities, where and when they happen and how much they cost.
"People will also have the opportunity to ask about volunteering opportunities in the groups."
Both NCD and NFA are currently issuing a call to groups that they haven’t yet managed to contact to email if they would like to be involved.
There are no costs to participate, according to the two groups.
The event will take place on Saturday, September 21 between 1pm and 3pm.
