Gardaí renew appeal for help in locating missing teenager

Gardaí are renewing their appeal for assistance in seeking the public's assistance in tracing the whereabouts of a 17-year-old boy who has been missing from his home in Dublin since late last week.

Lorcan Meehan from Artane, Dublin 5 was last seen at around 11.45pm on Thursday, August 22.

He is described as being 5'8 with a slim build. He has blonde hair and blue eyes and when last seen was wearing a black hoody, green t-shirt, brown trousers and runners with a black backpack.

In their renewed appeal, gardaí say they are concerned for his wellbeing.

Anyone with information on Lorcan's whereabouts is asked to contact Coolock garda station in Dublin on 01 666 4200, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any garda station.
