The purchase of The Keadeen Hotel in Newbridge was completed by the OCallaghan Family Group, represented by Matthew OCallaghan and Denis Williams.

The Keadeen Hotel is the latest acquisition by the O'Callaghan Family Group, marking an exciting new chapter in the hotel’s history. This charming property, nestled in 10 acres of landscaped grounds in Newbridge, is County Kildare’s longest-standing family-run hotel, having opened in 1970. The 69-bedroom Keadeen Hotel is renowned as a leading wedding destination, with award-winning gardens and an excellent reputation for food.

The Keadeen Hotel will become part of The iNUA Collection, and be managed by Cliste Hospitality on behalf of the OCallaghan family. Other properties in The iNUA Collection owned or managed by Cliste Hospitality include the five-star Muckross Park Hotel & Spa in Killarney, Ariel House in Ballsbridge, voco in Belfast, and the Radisson Blu Hotels in Cork, Limerick, Athlone & Sligo. The Keadeen Hotel is the third collaboration between the OCallaghan family and Cliste Hospitality, who already run two properties together in County Louth, The Fairways Hotel and The Gateway Hotel in Dundalk.

All existing management and employees of The Keadeen Hotel will continue to work with the new owners, ensuring guests receive the same warm and welcoming Keadeen experience. The new owners have also confirmed that all future bookings made with the hotel will be honoured, maintaining continuity across its considerable weddings, conference, dining, and leisure stay business.

Matthew OCallahan, new proprietor of The Keadeen Hotel said:
With its rich history and dedicated team, The Keadeen Hotel represents a significant addition to our growing hospitality portfolio at the OCallaghan Family Group. Our familys experience with our hotels in Louth has shown us the value of investing in local hospitality. With The Keadeen Hotel now part of our portfolio, we expect that our efforts will translate into increased economic activity in Newbridge and surrounding areas.”

Sean ODriscoll, Director of Hotels at Cliste Hospitality and CEO of The iNUA Collection said:
Welcoming The Keadeen Hotel into The iNUA Collection strengthens our commitment to developing Irelands hospitality industry and sustaining regional tourism. We believe The Keadeen Hotel, with its exceptional team and loyal clientele, provides a solid foundation for continued success. Our focus will be on maintaining The Keadeens guest experience and further investing in the product, ensuring it continues to be a premier destination in Kildare.
