Third annual Féile Liam O'Flynn festival being launched in Naas

The official launch of the third annual Féile Liam O'Flynn festival, takes place  place on Thursday, 5th September 2024, at Fletchers Pub, Main Street, Naas, starting at 8pm.

The Féile Liam O'Flynn festival is a celebration of Irish culture, music, and heritage, honouring the musical legacy of the legendary Kildare uilleann piper, Liam O'Flynn.

This year's festival promises to be the most exciting yet, featuring an array of talented musicians, engaging cultural events, and activities highlighting the rich traditions of our community.

A spokesperson said: "We are honoured to have special guests RTE's Ray D'Arcy, Jane O'Flynn and Chieftain Kevin
Conneff joining us for the launch event.

"The festival launch will also feature live performances from local musicians, offering a sneak peek of what attendees can expect during the main festival. It's a perfect opportunity for music lovers, cultural enthusiasts, and the local community to come together and celebrate.

"Join us for an evening of music, camaraderie, and celebration as we kick off Féile Liam O'Flynn 2024."
