Good news as Kildare Co Council gives green light for glamping pods

Kildare Co Council considering plan for glamping pods

A planning application has been approved by Kildare County Council for a proposed glamping facility. 

The green light has been given for the construction of four modular glamping pods on a site in Ardclough, Straffan. 

The designs include bicycle storage adjacent to the pods.

Modifications to the existing entrance of the site are also planned.

A wastewater treatment system, internal access roads and a connection to an existing drinking water well are also in the designs.

Landscaping and boundaries are provided for in the plans. 

The estimated construction value of the project is €60,000, according to the Construction Information Service database.
