Man threatened to burn down sister's home and vehicle, Kildare court told

Naas Courthouse.

A man allegedly threatened to burn down his sister's home, as well as burn out her vehicle, in County Kildare.

The accusation was heard before Judge Desmond Zaidan at Naas District Court on Thursday, September 19 last.

The Director of Public Prosecutions indicated summary disposal in relation to the case, and so the alleged details were read out in front of Judge Zaidan.

FURTHER ACCUSATION HEARD

The man has also been accused of causing around €600 worth of damages to the front door of a house.

After hearing the alleged details, Judge Zaidan accepted jurisdiction over the man's case and adjourned it for hearing to a date in March of 2025.

The judge also remanded the accused on continuing bail until the case resumes.
