Further alterations sought for house designs related to Kildare town development

Further alterations are being sought for house designs related one Kildare town housing development.

Back in July, the Leinster Leader reported that a planning permission application with Kildare County Council showed that Kilross Properties Limited proposed changes to the development located in the Whitelands East region of Kildare town.

The business was seeking permission for the change of house designs on sites 1 – 20 (phase 1) on a previously approved site (Pl ref No. 21/1033).

Now, Kilross Properties Ltd is seeking permission for the change of house designs on sites 21 – 43 phase 1 (23 units), on previously approved planning permission under reg. ref no. 21/1033.'

The proposed new designs from the application are listed below:

  • House type K3a, four-bedroom, two-storey semi-detached house design on sites 21 and 24
  • House type K3, four-bedroom, two-storey, semi-detached house design on sites 22 and 23
  • House type K1, four-bedroom, two-storey detached house design on site 25
  • House type K2, three-bedroom, two-storey, semi-detached house design on sites 26-36, 40 and 41
  • House type K2a, three-bedroom, two-storey, semi-detached house design on sites 37, 38 and 43
  • House type K5, three-bedroom, two-storey, mid-terrace house design on site 39 and 42

The description of the application also says: "The estate roads layout, site access, connection to services / sewers and all other associated site development works remain unchanged from the parent permission as part of this application."

The date received on the application is listed as October 8 last.

The submission-by and due dates are listed as November 11 and December 2 respectively.

According to the business information website vision-net.ie, Kilross Properties Ltd was established in 2006.

It has an address listed as New Road, Bawnogues, Straffan, County Kildare.
