The night temperature dropped quickly last week at the shelter with heat lamps going back on again after the Summer.
Many of our dogs were quite happy to wear a coat on their early morning walks. The changeable weather created problems for our Summer Bazaar too which was planned as an outdoor event in September. As there was a yellow weather warning forecast for that day we had to cancel.
We have now renamed this event as the Autumn Bazaar and moved it indoor just in case. It will be held in either the Town Hall Kilcullen, or Newbridge Rugby Club in Athgarvan on Sunday, October 20 from 12pm to 3pm.
We will confirm the location on our website. There will be stalls selling home produce, cakes, books and lots of bric a brack. Entry is free.
