The Garda search on the Kildare / Wicklow border
Gardaí have confirmed that the search as part the investigation into the disappearance of Jo Jo Dullard in Moone in November 1995 is continuing and is expected to continue into next week.
The operation near Dunlavin, which involves teams of Garda units including Kildare officers, began on Monday.
A man aged in his 50s who was arrested on Monday on suspicion of murder was released without charge on Wednesday.
A Garda statement issued this afternoon said:
"The search operation on open ground at a location in Co. Wicklow near the Wicklow/Kildare border remains ongoing.
"It is expected to continue over the weekend and into early next week.
"Investigations are ongoing."
The statement added: "An Garda Síochána appeals to anyone with any information, no matter how small or insignificant you might believe it to be, to contact Naas Garda Station on 045 884 300 or any Garda station, or anyone who wishes to provide information confidentially should contact the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111."
