Tributes paid following the passing  of a 'lovely and gentle father'

Tom Kelly - St John's, Dublin Rd., Castledermot, Kildare,

Tributes have been paid following the passing of Tom Kelly of St. John’s, Dublin Rd., Castledermot, Co Kildare.

Tom passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on the 3rd of December 2024.

Tom was laid to rest in Coltstown Cemetery on Friday following Funeral Mass in The Church of The Assumption, Castledermot.

Tom was the beloved husband of Bea, much loved father of Rhona, Sandra, Enda and Thomas, adored grandfather of Lauren, Ryan, David, Keelan, Hope, Kimora, T.J and Matthew and cherished brother of Jimmy, Johnny, Ann, Delma and the late Andy and Margaret.

He will be sadly missed by his loving wife, sons, daughters, grandchildren, daughters-in-law Lesley and Raquel, sons-in-law Brian and Mick, brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Tributes have been paid on the condolences section of Rip.ie and read as follows: 

"Sincere sympathy to Bea, Rhona, Sandra, Thomas and Enda on the death of your gentle and loving father Tom. Keeping you all in our prayers at this sad and difficult time. May Toms gentle soul Rest in Peace."

Another reads:

"We send out sincere condolences on the sad passing of Dear Tom to Bea, Rhona, Sandra, Enda & Thomas. Also the extended Kelly family. You are all in our thoughts and prayers at this very difficult time. May Tom's gentle soul rest in peace Amen."
