Naas' Moat Theatre announce new manager Paul Seeber

The board of the Moat Club CLG, which runs the Moat Theatre, Naas, has announced the appointment of Paul Seeber as its new Manager. Mr Seeber brings extensive expertise in financial management, marketing, event planning and human resources to his new role. As Development Manager at Belvedere College SJ, Dublin, he honed his strengths in fundraising. His business management experience in the arts and education sector underscores his commitment to leveraging marketing and public engagement in his work with the Moat Theatre.

Paul’s dedication to the arts is not only professional but personal, as he is a pianist, percussionist and a passionate arts advocate. An accomplished musician, Paul recently completed a Master’s in Music Performance from Munster Technological University.

Mr Seeber expressed his enthusiasm for contributing to the ongoing success of the Moat Theatre. He aims to set ambitious new goals and to strengthen the theatre’s community engagement, ensuring it remains a vibrant cultural hub for Naas and the surrounding region.

Samantha Coventry, Chairperson of the Moat Club CLG board, said of his appointment, “We are thrilled to welcome Paul to the Moat Theatre. His diverse skillset and experience will be invaluable in fostering the theatre’s growth as a dynamic arts centre for the community.”

Mr Seeber’s appointment follows the untimely passing of the theatre’s former manager, Celine Garvey, who sadly passed away from cancer in April. The board of the Moat Club CLG extends heartfelt thanks to Ms Kathleen Smith, who served with great dedication as interim manager during Ms Garvey’s illness and up until Mr Seeber’s appointment.
