A planning application was submitted to Kildare County Council on December 19 2024 by Mulberry Properties Limited for one additional storey to apartment Block B, The Paddocks, Knockaulin, Leixlip, Co. Kildare.
According to Construction Information Services (CIS), the plans propose to increase the building's height from four-storey to five-storey, providing five additional apartments, consisting of two additional one-bed units and three additional two-bed units.
The plans also include alterations to existing floor levels and heights; the relocation of previously approved bike store to location adjoining the existing apartment block bin store; four additional bike parking spaces; and related alterations to paths and landscaping.
The architect for the project is Daly and Carroll Architecture.
