Autumn
Sometimes in rescue, there is a dog or cat, who for whatever reason is constantly overlooked. Whilst the shelter plays a crucial role in the rehabilitation and rehoming of dogs and cats, it is not an environment for an animal to live out its days in.
Autumn is an older dog who came to us from the pound last September in a very poor state.
Initially she was showing all the signs of a dog who had shut down –she was very quiet and disinterested in engaging, and was happy to be left alone in bed. With tons of attention, love and good nutrition Autumn improved and started to take an interest in life again.
We know she had a past life of hardship and neglect, now we want her to live out what is left of the remainder of her life in a place of love and kindness. Autumn has overcome her past and is a gentle and loving soul. We are looking for a forever, cat free home for Autumn to live out her years in. We estimate she is between 10 to 12 years old. Autumn is available either as a long-term foster, or to be adopted.
In the case of long-term foster care, the KWWSPCA will continue to finance her medical needs for her lifetime. If you have an interest in adopting Autumn, or offering her a long term foster home, please complete an expression of interest form on our website at kwwspca.ie , or call 087 6887136, or email kwwspcadogrehoming@gmail.com
