Sallins
Kildare County Council has ruled out an extension to a footpath from a creche to the Osberstown Bridge, Sallins.
The request came from Cllr Carmel Kelly who said people have to step on the roadway.
She said work is required on only a small section and it would make the area safer for pedestrians.
However, KCC said that “due to limited resources” there are no plans for a footpath extension.
