The St.Brigids Camino Walk takes place on Monday, February 3.

To commemorate Brigid, Monasterevin Parish have organised a Camino Walk in her honour. Starting at St. Brigid's Shrine at Mountrice on the Monasterevin to Rathangan Road (Eircode W34X529) at 11am on Monday 3 February, the walk will cover approximately six kilometres.

Car parking will be provided at Mountrice Cross. The walk will be led by Bishop Nulty, and will journey via Umeras then along the new canal Blueway, finishing in St Peter & Paul’s Church Monasterevin with a Service of Light at 12.30pm.

A bus will leave the Church at 10.30am to Mountrice and return to Mountrice at 2pm All those who participate will be issued with a special St Brigid Camino Passport that will be stamped at St Pater & Paul’s Church. St Brigids crosses and refreshments will be provided on the day.
