Kildare actor Malone plays the part of 'The King' in Rumpelstiltskin, directed by Andy Edwards, has been selected as part of the Fright Fest Film Festival, held in Glasgow
An actor based in Kildare town has a starring role in an upcoming horror feature film which is having its world premier at the Glasgow Fright Fest Film Festival in March.
Colin Malone plays the part of 'The King' in Rumpelstiltskin, directed by Andy Edwards, has been selected as part of the Fright Fest Film Festival, held in Glasgow.

The movie is described as "a haunting tale of the scariest villain from our collective childhoods returns - only darker, bloodier and nastier this time.
"Once upon a time, Miller attempted to marry his daughter off to the King by promising she could spin straw into gold. With the help of a demonic imp, she completes the task, but the King becomes greedy and wants more.
"So she promises the imp her firstborn in return for yet more favours. But when it comes time to honour her bargain, dark forces merge when the Imp makes a deal with the devil."
Malone recently won The Best Actor Award at The Underground Cinema for my role in "Donovans Orders". A short film written by Joseph Sheehan, which was also nominated for best Screenplay.
The actor started out in theatre twenty years ago, and was initially trained by the late Sean Judge - avisionary theater director renowned for his controversial and hard-hitting plays.
Malone has also trained in Motion Capture performance, and creature work for screen and video games.
He is currently in rehearsal for a solo show entitled "Nevermore" where Malone will perform two tales from the godfather of gothic literature, Edgar Allan Poe back to back. More information regarding venues and dates will be announced soon at colinmaloneactor.com
