Maynooth University Campus will be closed on Friday, January 24. Met Éireann has issued a Status Red wind warning for the entire country, effective from 6:00 am to 12:00 pm on Friday, January 24 across County Kildare, due to Storm Éowyn.
Following the instructions of the National Emergency Coordination Group (NECG), campus arrangements for Friday are as follows:
Staff and students should not come to campus and should follow all Met Éireann advice and instructions. Only essential workers should attend.
Student residents should shelter in place and follow all Met Éireann instructions.
Staff who can work from home should do so.
Please monitor Met Éireann updates and watch for further updates from us should the situation change.
Take care and avoid unnecessary travel.
