The stop near Naas Hospital
A bus stop outside Naas General Hospital must be relocated.
Cllr Bill Clear said it should be moved closer to Ballycane with the aim of “improving its accessibility and enhancing its facilities such as the addition of seating.”
He said that at the moment cars have to stop behind any bus that halts at the stop.

He said there is a green area nearby that could be used for a new stop.
Kildare County Council says the location of bus stops is a matter for Transport for Ireland/National Transport Authority (NTA) and a request to relocate the bus stop can be made directly to the NTA.
If the NTA agrees then KCC will be consulted to determine if there are any road safety implications.
