A hard lesson learned
Sunny weather is a time when some car enthusiasts take out a 'weekend motor' for a spin.
We're not sure this was the case in this situation - but it's certainly landed the driver of this Toyota sports car in a spot of bother.
Gardaí stopped the vehicle in the New Ross area and officers discovered it had no Tax, Insurance or NCT.
In fact, the Tax was out by 10 years, the Insurance expired six years ago and the NCT was valid until December 31, 2012!
Gardai said that the 1999-registered car was seized and court proceedings will follow.
Ouch!
