Naas Gardai recover ornamental bicycle stolen from Naas garden remembering cancer victims

Back safe and sound

A bicycle taken from the Naas Cancer Garden has been recovered and will be returned to Naas Tidy Towns.

Off duty members from Community Gardai and Roads Policing picked it up this morning after receiving assistance from a member of the public who had found it.

Enquiries are ongoing and the bike will be technically examined.

Naas Gardai said: "This is a great example of the community pulling together."

Naas Cancer Garden, located between Friary Road and Blessington Road, is a place of tranquility for cancer patients and their families.

The bike was stolen on Thursday afternoon.
