A coffee dock with cakes and other snacks may be coming to the Naas National Car Test Centre.

Currently,  the busy facility in Naas Enterprise Park only offers vending machines to customers while they wait for their cars to be tested.

Motorists usually have a wait of 15 minutes or more depending on how quickly their vehicles are processed by mechanics.

However Brava Java, which already operates coffee kiosks at three NCT Centres in Dublin, told KildareNow that it will be "putting a coffee dock in all NCT Centres across the country" in coming months.

Brava Java currently has three separate outlets at Fonthill, Deansgrange and Greenhills NCT Centres.

The NCT Service also said it is "currently reviewing the option of this in other centres as an enhancement to the overall NCT customer service experience."
