Prosperous Post Office staff suffer traumatic experience with Gardaí renewing appeals for information on lone gunman

Prosperous Post Office staff endured a 'traumatic' experience when a lone gunman fled with thousands of euros.

On Wednesday, May 22, a lone gun man is reported to have entered Prosperous Post Office.

At approximately 10.30am, when there was one customer at the Post Office, the staff were threatened with a gun.

The man is described as wearing black shoes, blue jeans, a white jacket with black straps around the back and top.

Garda Ronan Mannion of Naas Garda Station, said: “It was a particularly traumatic experience for staff members.”
