Clane Gardaí are investigating a cash in transit robbery reported to have taken place this afternoon on the Main St.
At about 2.10pm today, it is understood, according to a Garda spokesperson that a male worker was approached outside a financial institution on Main St, Clane. A sum of money was taken during the raid.
The Garda spokesperson said: "The suspects fled on foot in the direction of Dublin. No injuries were sustained."
Investigations are ongoing.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses who were on Main Street Clane between 1.30pm and 2.30pm, especially those with dash cams to contact them at Clane Garda Station on 045-884316, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111 or any Garda Station.
