Rain set to ease with some sunny spells on the way for Co Kildare

It will be drier today

The rain is set to continue this morning for many parts of Co Kildare although there will be some brightening up with a few sunny spells in the afternoon.

Early morning rain will linger over the north of Leinster but it will be generally dry and getting brighter to the south. Brightening up across much of the province through the afternoon but with some scattered showers continuing into the evening time.

Highs of 12 to 15 degrees in northwesterly breezes.

Outbreaks of rain over north Leinster overnight but generally dry and clear with the odd shower. Lows of 3 to 5 with occasional fog patches.

There will be sunny spells and showers for Thursday. Highs of 13 to 15 degrees.

Friday: Sunny spells and heavy showers with many of the showers occurring over the western half of the country. Highs of 14 to 17 degrees in light breezes.
