Kildare businesspeople attended a seminar on cybersecurity in Naas yesterday.
The three-hour session organised by Kildare Chamber of Commerce introduced the participants to the world of cybersecurity and helped them understand what they need to know and do to keep themselves and their workplace safe and secure.
No prior knowledge or experience of cybersecurity was required to take part in the course.
Key areas covered included threats from Malware, phishing and social engineering.
Other topics that featured were Password Policies, Web Protection and Email Protection.
The course was free to members of the Chamber.
