Co Kildare motorists are contending with extremely heavy rain this evening.
Traffic is reported to be very heavy on the approach to Athgarvan and Newbridge.
Southbound on the N7M7 is busy from J7 Kill to J9 Naas North. Further along, there are also delays passing J10 Naas South.
