Acoustic Picnic 5 will be hosted in the grounds of The Bridge Community, via An Tearmainn Café, Kilcullen

Drop over to The Bridge Community, Kilcullen this afternoon for the most amazing line up of musicians, story tellers and entertainers! Acoustic Picnic 5 offers fab entertainment from 2-5pm - let's hope the weather holds out!

Organised by Roy Thompson, renowned music, the event is FREE of charge donations welcome in aid of Maintain Hope, a direct aid organisation founded by local man, Gerry O'Donoghue.  The charity aids projects in Kenya, to support deprived children. To date, it has built accommodation, provided a bus to convey the children to and from school, funded children through school and college constructed and equipped classrooms.

Maintain Hope address the nutritional, medical and educational needs of rescued children. Also, Maintain Hope has placed teacher on voluntary placement in Kibiko School, Nairobi and Kikambala, provides trips for orphaned children and a food programme
