Gardaí are investigating after newly-installed floating jetty in Athy had parts stolen and was vandalized beyond repair last night.
Kildare Sports Partnership tweeted photographs of the damage done to the jetty.
A spokesperson said: "Gardaí have been informed and will be monitoring the area."
