Naas Gardaí stop driver speeding and with no road tax for almost a year

Naas Roads Policing Unit detected a car travelling at 170km per hour on the N7.

The vehicle was stopped at Blackchurch on the dual carriageway. 

Gardaí used a hand-held mobility device which notified them that the road tax had expired expired 357 days ago.

The car was seized and court proceedings will follow in coming weeks.
