Man allegedly harboured €7,000 worth of crack cocaine in Kildare property, Naas District Court told

A man who appeared in Naas District Court via video link on Thursday, March 10 was accused of having €7,000 worth of crack cocaine in Newbridge.

Evan Hughes, with an address at 27 Glenfield Grove, Clondalkin, Dublin 22, is alleged to have stashed the drugs in a property on Robert Street in Newbridge.

Gardaí said that the amount was discovered on Saturday, March 5.

Judge Desmond Zaidan remanded the 20-year-old defendant in custody until March 24, when the DPP is expected to give directions for the trial.
