A blood donation clinic is currently taking place in a Kildare-based hotel, Kildare FM radio station has announced.
According to the Irish Blood Transfusion Service, over 3,000 blood donors are needed each week in Ireland.
The clinic at the Glenroyal Hotel in Maynooth, is operating from today to Thursday, between the hours of 3.45pm to 8pm.
Donors are advised to book an appointment in advance by calling 1800 731 137.
