ALERT: Batches of popular hot chocolate recalled due to possible presence of small beads

Batches of a popular brand of hot chocolate drinks have been recalled by Nestlé.

The Food Safety Authority of Ireland (FSAI) issued an alert yesterday (Monday November 28) for Nestlé's Aero Hot Choc drinks due to the possibility of small (up to 3mm) food-grade silica beads being present in the products.

The notice affects all batch codes and all best before dates of Nestlé Aero Hot Choc Plastic Jar (pack size 288g), Nescafé & Go Nestlé Aero Hot Choc Sachet (24g), and Nestlé Aero Hot Choc Cup (28g).

Recall notices will be displayed at point-of-sale.
