A driver has been fined by gardaí in Kildare for speeding at 109kph in an 80kph zone in fog.
According to the official Garda Traffic account on Twitter: "The Naas Roads Policing Unit were carrying out Speed Check on the Sallins Bypass when they saw this car speeding at109kph in an 80kph zone in foggy conditions, with an air temperature of -3.
"They were stopped and were issued a fine."
