An allegation of assault causing harm was levelled against a man in Naas District Court on Thursday, December 8.
Damien Costello, with an address listed as Apartment B, Block E, The Paddocks, Newbridge, was accused of assault causing harm against another person in Newbridge on September 13, 2020.
Gardaí alleged that the 30-year-old hit the other person with a broken bottle.
It was claimed that the injured party sustained a deep laceration as a result of the alleged assault.
Sitting Judge Michéle Finan adjourned the case to February 9, 2023, to allow time for a medical report to be presented.
Jurisdiction over the case is also due to be considered on this date.
