Kildare pharmacists on Irish Pharmacy News' Annual Listing of Ireland's Dynamic 100

Shane Ryan and Roz McElwee

A Kildare pharmacy chain is celebrating after two of their pharmacists were included on the Irish Pharmacy News' Annual Listing of Ireland's Dynamic 100.

Ryan's Pharmacy said it was proud to see Shane Ryan and Roz McElwee feature on this prestigious list.

“With five pharmacies in the Kildare/Offaly area, these communities benefit greatly from Shane's tireless work and genuine concern for those around him,” the pharmacy said.

“Roz has worked with us since 2013 and is described as an 'inspiring professional' who has brought immeasurable benefits to the pharmacy team. Roz has also been instrumental in assisting the pharmacy technicians in developing their roles further, and has acted as a mentor to the younger next generation of community pharmacists.”

It said Shane has recruited loyal dedicated staff in each pharmacy, which has allowed him to work as a pharmacist himself, as well as managing all the other pharmacies. He is also a keen supporter of local charities and organisations, and runs marathons in his spare time.
