Planning permission documents shows seven homes have been proposed for Rathangan.
The news follows after it was revealed that 37 dwellings and 24 apartments were proposed for Rathangan earlier this week by the Leinster Leader.
Applicant Raymond Conlan has applied for consent from Kildare County Council to construct the houses at Kildare Road in Rathangan.
The development would consist of five two storey houses and two single-storey houses.
Planning permission is also being sought for: an access road, site entrance, connection to mains sewer, landscaping and all associated site development works (part of permitted development 22/790).
The date received is listed as October 28 last, while the submission-by date is listed as December 1.
Further information for the project was requested on December 19 last.
