The Irish National Stud in Tully East, Kildare Town is planning to build a new Interactive Museum on its grounds.

The proposed 600 square-metre facility will be designed to enhance the visitor experience for tens of thousands of annual visitors.

The planned Museum will also give an insight into the lifecycle of a thoroughbred racehorse.

Permission is also sought for a  temporary compound for construction vehicles and equipment which will revert to a car park after the project is completed.
