A Co Kildare TD is appealing for traffic calming measures.

Deputy Fiona O’Loughlin TD is calling on  Kildare County Council to install traffic calming measures along Standhouse Lawns and Seven Springs.

She said:, “This is an extremely busy road and has become increasingly busier with people using the road to the Curragh to avoid traffic at the McLoughlins side.”

Deputy O'Loughlin said:“There are two schools in this location and many elderly residents living around the area that walk to church and people are speeding into town with only one speed ramp causing cars to slow down marginally”.
