Kildare homeowner wants planning for BBQ and sauna

The owners of a home in Maynooth have applied to Kildare Co Council for planning permission to erect a partially-roofed pergola-covered BBQ structure suitable for outdoor cooking in their back garden.

The proposed size of the facility (similar to photo) is 17 square metres.

Also being planned is a 25 square metre sauna located to the side and rear of an existing garage.

Planners normally consider planning applications for up to eight weeks before making a decision.
