Planning permission has been granted for the conversion of office space over an existing bar in Kildare to bedroom accommodation.
According to Construction Information Services (CIS), Studio One Film Exhibitors Limited was granted planning permission (ref 2561150) on April 2 2026, with respect to a site address at Silken Thomas, Market Square, Kildare Town R51 HK54, Co Kildare.
The planning application was first submitted to Kildare County Council on October 16 2026.

The change of use of existing first floor offices over existing public bar to proposed new bedroom accommodation, linked to a proposed new single storey bedroom accommodation block constructed over the existing external first floor seating and smoking area to the rear of first floor offices.
