Last day to vote for Kildare pharmacist Lisa for national award

Today is the last day to vote for local Celbridge Community Pharmacist Lisa Malone who been nominated for a prestigious national award.

Lisa is in the running for The People’s Pharmacist in Association with A.Menarini Consumer Health of the Year 2017.

The  Co Mayo native is currently living in Blessington and is married to husband Anthony.

Lisa said: “The whole thing has been a big surprise & I feel really honoured to be nominated for it.

"It’s really lovely for our hardwork to be recognised in this way. It’s definitely down to the amazing pharmacy team we have behind us.”

Each finalist was nominated for the award by their local community for their continued excellence of service throughout the years.

Based in Castletown Pharmacy in Celbridge, Lisa has made it through to the finalist stage of the People's Pharmacist Award for her hard work and determination to help people when they need it. Lisa has been described as the nicest Pharmacist that people have ever had the pleasure of dealing with and the fact that nothing is ever too much for her and her fantastic team at Castletown Pharmacy. Lisa has also been praised for the extremely helpful advice that she provides to her customers.

A customer who nominated Lisa said “ I can’t even begin to tell you how impressed I am with your pharmacy and with Lisa. I can’t thank you enough for your professionalism.  I was delighted by how Lisa took the time to review and explain how the medication works and storage of the medicines. Thank you for making what could have been a difficult and stressful process a lot smoother.”

The People’s Pharmacist in Association with A.Menarini Consumer Health of the Year 2017 is unique, as it is nominated and voted for solely by the general public on the excellent services provided by their local Pharmacist in promoting health and wellbeing in the community.

The Award will be given out at the annual Irish Pharmacy Awards, which recognise and reward excellence, dedication and ongoing innovation in the Irish Pharmacy industry.

All finalists will be invited attend the Gala Awards function at the Clayton Burlington Hotel, Dublin   You can vote for your community pharmacist by three different ways – by email, telephone or by liking and sharing their picture on facebook.
