Incredibly there was 17 points between Sarsfields and Raheens with the Newbridge side putting in an absolute powerful final 20 minutes hitting an impressive 2-9 and keeping the Caragh  boys scoreless.

Just a point separated the sides at the break, Sarsfields leading 1-6 to 1-5.

Raheens got off to the perfect start at the start of the second half, Paddy Woodgate firing a penalty to the net.

However The Sash replied instantly, Shea Ryan blasting to the net and whle Raheens scored a mere two more points, the Newbridge lads added 2-10 with two goals from Cathal White.

Final score: Sarsfields 4-18 Raheens 2-7.
