All donations will be resold at a sale towards the end of Summer
A sports club based in County Kildare will host an old gear collection event next month.
Newbridge Rugby Football Club (NRFC) has announced that it is currently collecting old and / or unused rugby and gym gear as part of its ‘gear amnesty’ event.
According to NRFC, they are collecting gear from ‘any team’ and ‘all sizes, from minis to seniors’.
Examples of clothing that will be accepted include boots, jerseys and shorts.
NRFC also asserted that all donated items will be resold at a sale towards the end of Summer, and that the money will go back into the club.
The ‘gear amnesty’ will take place on inside NRFC’s Clubhouse on Saturday, June 6, 2026.
It will take place from 12.30pm and conclude at 2pm.
