Overcrowding has eased at Naas Hospital with the number of patients being treated on trolleys falling to 15, from 24 on Monday.
There has been a reduction in the number of patients being treated on trolleys at many hospitals, though overcrowding remains a problem generally.
There are nine patients on trolleys at Tullamore Hospital and one at Portlaoise Hospital.
