Pedestrians need more time to cross the main street in Naas.
A local councillor wants the amount of time that traffic is halted increased to enhance safety.
Cllr Bill Clear says the county council should increase the crossing time from six seconds to ten seconds at the crossing located at Bank of Ireland.
He says this will facilitate elderly and disabled people.
