A lot of fantastic musical talent is coming out of Naas lately and new band 'Z00L' is sure to grab attention with the release of their original song 'Where Do We Go' which was released yesterday, Sunday 17 June.
The band consists of friends Graham Halton from Naas, Sean Kenny from Carragh and Sean Brophy also from Naas. The talented lads started off as a group a year ago, and together they write and play instruments including guitar and piano to create their own unique sound.
Speaking to KildareNow, band member Graham Halton explained: "So we started off as a group together about a year ago, we then separated for a couple of months then have now come back together to work harder than ever. The main singer in the song 'Where Do We Go' is Sean Kenny, from Caragh, video edit recorded, singing by Sean Brophy and myself from Naas too. Sean Kenny wrote the lyrics by himself at about 4 o'clock in the morning, he brought the song to us and we put all the instruments together."
Their original debut single 'Where Do We Go' is a soulful, catchy tune and the video was filmed along the canals in Naas, with the lads deciding to make the most of the natural scenery as they cheerfully go on a journey together, recording their song in the sitting room and playing the piano, guitar and drums.
Graham added: "We are also working on more songs and this one will be available on Spotify in the in the next few days."
It look's like Z00L could very well be the next big band to come out of Naas with their soulful, fun sound and charm- these three are certainly ones to watch out for!
