A large home sitting on 73 acres of land in the Kilmeague area is set to go to auction at the beginning of next month.
The property, located in the Coolaght area of Kilmeague, will be the subject of bids at a public auction in Lawlor's Hotel in Naas on Thursday October 4.
With such a large amount of land surrounding the three-bedroom farmhouse, it is likely to attract a decent price if it is sold at the auction.
The property can be sold in three separate lots or else purchased in its entirety, with the first lot on offer being the farmhouse and 6.6 acres of land. The second lot is 42 acres which is a forestry plantation created by Greenbelt. It consists of selection of Broadleaves including Oak, Sycamore and Spruce and has an annual subsidy of approximately €8,000 per annum.
The third lot is a 25 acre forestry plantation which was planted in 1996 and is currently leased at an annual passing rent of €3,300 per annum to Coillte.
