Armagh overwhelmed Kildare by no less than 14 points in Round 3 of the AFL Division 2, Round 3, at Netwatch Cullen Park, Carlow this evening.
Two first half goals from Conor Turbitt and Rory Grugan put Armagh in the driving seat and the game was effectly well over even before half-time.
The visitors dominated from start to finish with Kildare never raising a gallop and rarely putting Kieran McGeeney's men under pressure.
Armagh led at the break 2-8 to 0-4 and while Kildare did show slight improvement on the resumption they never at any stage put Armagh under any real presssure and in the end went down by 14 points.
Final score: Armagh 2-16 Kildare 0-8.
