Kildare Senator Fiona O'Loughlin has welcomed the announcement of the 2025 Garda recruitment campaign and encouraged people from Kildare to apply.
Applications open from February 6 2025 for a period of three weeks.
Senator O'Loughlin said: "A key priority for Fianna Fáil in government is growing the size of An Garda Síochána, so that we can get more gardaí on the ground in our communities, so I welcome the announcement of the new Garda Recruitment Campaign.

"New trainees in the campaign are eligible for an increased training allowance of €354 per week.
"We need a bigger and stronger Garda force to keep us all safe in our communities, so I would strongly encourage anybody from Kildare who is interested to visit publicjobs.ie for more information on how to apply."
