Kildare Gardaí warn that main street of town to be temporarily closed this evening

Kildare Gardaí have advised that the main street of Maynooth will be closed to traffic this evening.
The St Brigid 2025 Festival's Procession of Light Event is taking place in the town.
To facilitate this event - the Main Street in Maynooth will be closed to all vehicles from 6.45pm-9pm.
Diversions will be in place.
Luxe Landscape Theatre will lead a grand fiery processional event in Maynooth for St. Brigid’s Festival 2025.
Celebrating the transition from winter days into the beginning of spring, and recognising the spirit of renewal.
